Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Food and Beverage Services Manager to lead the F&B operations of our prestigious 4‑ and 5‑star hotel property. This pivotal role reports directly to the Director of Operations and is responsible for delivering world‑class dining experiences that reflect the hotel’s brand standards. The successful candidate will combine strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and fluency in English to coordinate a diverse team of chefs, servers, and support staff across multiple outlets.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, banquets, and catering, ensuring consistent quality and service excellence.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with luxury hotel standards, health & safety regulations, and sustainability initiatives.
- Manage inventory control, ordering, and cost‑management processes to achieve target food cost percentages while minimizing waste.
- Lead recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of F&B staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and guest‑centric service.
- Collaborate closely with the culinary team to design seasonal menus, special promotions, and guest‑personalized dining experiences.
- Coordinate with other departments—housekeeping, front office, sales & events—to ensure seamless execution of large‑scale functions and cross‑departmental initiatives.
- Monitor guest feedback, conduct regular service audits, and implement corrective actions to enhance satisfaction scores.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly financial reports, including revenue analysis, budget variance, and profitability recommendations.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with local health codes, fire safety regulations, and brand audit requirements.
- Adhere to the established work schedule: Monday – Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, while remaining flexible for special events or peak periods.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is a strong advantage.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar managerial role within a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel environment.
- Excellent command of English—both written and spoken—to interact with international guests and corporate partners.
- Demonstrated strong coordination and leadership skills, capable of driving initiatives across multiple departments.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in financial reporting and quality control.
- Proficiency in F&B management software (e.g., POS, inventory, and reporting tools).
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with a customer‑focused mindset.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the hotel’s operational needs.
