Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Service Cleaning Team Supervisor to lead our cleaning operations across multiple sites. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all facilities maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation, which directly impacts client satisfaction and the overall reputation of our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage a diverse team of cleaning staff while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily cleaning activities for a team of janitorial staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specification.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) that align with industry best practices and client expectations.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, identifying areas for improvement and promptly addressing any deficiencies.
- Train new hires and provide ongoing coaching to improve performance, emphasizing proper use of equipment, safety protocols, and environmentally friendly cleaning methods.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and personal protective gear, placing orders as needed to avoid disruptions.
- Coordinate with client representatives to understand specific cleaning requirements, special requests, and feedback, ensuring that service delivery is consistently aligned with their needs.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on team productivity, incident logs, and resource utilization for senior management.
- Enforce health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and ensuring that all team members adhere to proper lifting techniques and chemical handling procedures.
- Foster a positive work environment by recognizing outstanding performance, addressing conflicts promptly, and encouraging open communication.
Requirements
- Gender: All genders accepted.
- Age: Maximum 35 years.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with an SMP background are also considered.
- Experience: No prior supervisory experience required, but a demonstrated ability to lead, organize, and motivate a team is essential.
- Key attributes: Hardworking, honest, responsible, meticulous, and eager to start immediately.
- Essential skills: Basic management of cleaning operations, ability to read and follow SOPs, strong communication skills, and proficiency in basic computer applications for reporting.
- Work schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
