We are seeking a dynamic Guru Olahraga Sekolah Menengah dengan Fokus Kebugaran to join our dedicated team of educators. Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and deliver comprehensive physical education curricula that align with national education standards and incorporate contemporary fitness trends.
- Conduct engaging classroom sessions on sports theory, anatomy, nutrition, and health education, ensuring each lesson is interactive and student‑centered.
- Organize and supervise a variety of sports activities, including team sports (football, basketball, volleyball) and individual fitness programs (track and field, yoga, strength training).
- Develop individualized fitness plans for students with special needs or specific performance goals, monitoring progress through regular assessments.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate physical education concepts into cross‑curricular projects, such as science experiments on muscle function or mathematics lessons on statistics in sports.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance metrics, and incident reports, complying with school policies and safety regulations.
- Lead extracurricular clubs and competitions, fostering school spirit and encouraging community involvement.
- Stay current with emerging sports science research, technology tools (e.g., wearable fitness trackers), and pedagogical methods, applying them to improve instructional effectiveness.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment, modeling discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork for all students.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a closely related field.
- Teaching experience at the secondary level is highly preferred, though recent graduates with strong internship backgrounds are welcome.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and, preferably, basic English proficiency.
- Patience, discipline, and a strong sense of responsibility when managing groups of adolescents.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of educators and support staff.
- Passion for promoting health, fitness, and lifelong sport participation among youth.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional participation in evening events or weekend tournaments.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for lesson planning, student assessment, and fitness tracking.
