The role of Business Partner Staff – Lapangan focuses on expanding our borrower network, providing hands‑on economic support to households, and ensuring the smooth processing of loan applications and repayments. Working Monday through Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, you will be based in the field every day, traveling to client locations using your own vehicle. Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers, presenting Amartha’s micro‑loan programs and encouraging participation.
- Conduct in‑depth household economic assessments to determine creditworthiness and tailor financing solutions.
- Perform field surveys and feasibility analyses, ensuring each loan application complies with Amartha’s risk policies, procedures, and documentation standards.
- Coordinate the collection process, following up with borrowers on repayment schedules, and recording payments accurately.
- Maintain detailed activity logs and reports for management review, highlighting trends, challenges, and success stories.
- Serve as a trusted liaison between Amartha’s central office and the local community, communicating updates, policy changes, and educational resources.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on digital tools, financial literacy techniques, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and discipline while representing Amartha’s brand in the field.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age range: 18‑30 years (maximum 33 years as per company policy).
- Possession of a personal motorbike or car for daily field travel.
- Strong personal integrity, honesty, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Resilience and the ability to work independently under varying field conditions.
- Willingness to work on‑site every day, with occasional overtime during peak periods.
- No prior experience required; however, experience in sales, community outreach, or micro‑finance is a plus.
- Basic digital literacy, including proficiency with mobile data collection apps and spreadsheet tools.
