Introduction
We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Designer 3D Modeller to join our fast‑growing creative studio. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and possesses a solid foundation in 3D modelling using Blender. The successful candidate will work closely with our design, animation, and production teams to bring concepts to life, ensuring high‑quality visual assets for a variety of digital and print projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop high‑fidelity 3D models from concept sketches, reference images, or technical drawings, adhering to project specifications and deadlines.
- Utilize Blender to create, texture, rig, and animate models, while maintaining optimal polygon counts for performance.
- Integrate assets into larger pipelines, collaborating with texture artists, lighting specialists, and developers to ensure seamless workflow.
- Produce detailed texture maps and material setups using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, when required, to enhance realism.
- Conduct regular quality checks, troubleshoot modeling issues, and iterate based on feedback from senior designers and project managers.
- Stay up‑to‑date with emerging 3D technologies, AI‑assisted tools (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok), and industry best practices to continuously improve efficiency.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, offering creative input on visual direction, style guides, and asset organization.
- Maintain clear documentation of modelling processes, naming conventions, and version control for future reference.
- Assist junior team members by providing mentorship, training on Blender fundamentals, and sharing tips for effective AI‑tool integration.
- Manage workload across a Monday‑Saturday schedule (08:00 – 17:00), ensuring timely delivery of milestones while balancing multiple projects.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (as specified by the client’s hiring policy).
- Proven ability to navigate and model efficiently in Blender; a solid portfolio of 3D work is essential.
- Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is highly desirable and will be considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated adaptability, quick learning capability, and a proactive attitude toward skill development.
- Experience or comfort using AI‑driven productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, or Grok to streamline research, asset generation, or problem‑solving.
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles, including composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English to interact with multinational clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
