Introduction
We are seeking an Experienced Kitchen Cook to join our dynamic food preparation team. Responsibilities
- Prepare, portion, and plate menu items according to standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation, adhering to local health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving deliveries, rotating stock, and reporting low‑stock items.
- Collaborate with the head chef to develop daily specials and adapt recipes based on seasonal availability.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food is served at optimal taste and safety standards.
- Support fellow kitchen personnel during peak service periods, fostering a cooperative and efficient team atmosphere.
- Participate in regular equipment checks and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Contribute ideas for menu improvement, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
- Adhere to the scheduled shift pattern of 14:00 – 01:00 WIB, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
- Engage in ongoing training sessions to stay current with culinary trends and cooking techniques.
Requirements
- Maximum age of 40 years.
- Minimum education: High school diploma (SMA) or vocational school (SMK) equivalent; candidates currently enrolled in full‑time studies are not considered.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a similar kitchen or food‑preparation role, preferably in high‑volume settings.
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic cooking techniques, seasoning, and food plating.
- Strong work ethic: quick, diligent, and able to thrive under pressure.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills; ability to follow instructions and give constructive feedback.
- Willingness to work the designated shift (14:00 – 01:00 WIB) and adhere to the weekly schedule of Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle the demands of a bustling kitchen.
