Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Promotor Penjualan to join our dynamic retail team at Toko Balikado in Medan. This position plays a pivotal role in driving sales, enhancing product visibility, and fostering strong relationships with both store partners and end‑customers. As a front‑line sales ambassador, you will be the face of our brand, delivering compelling product presentations and ensuring our store environment reflects the highest standards of organization and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Actively approach customers, present product features, and close sales to meet or exceed daily and monthly targets.
- Arrange and maintain attractive product displays, ensuring merchandise is well‑stocked, properly labeled, and visually appealing.
- Conduct regular stock checks (stock opname), record low‑stock items, and prepare accurate inventory reports for the manager.
- Collaborate with store staff to keep the sales floor tidy, organized, and compliant with safety and hygiene standards.
- Build and nurture long‑term relationships with store owners, managers, and customers, acting as a trusted advisor for product queries.
- Gather market feedback, monitor competitor activities, and relay insights to the merchandising team for continuous improvement.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, share performance metrics, and propose strategies to boost turnover.
- Adhere to the set work schedule: Tuesday to Sunday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for promotional events and peak shopping periods.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of proven experience in sales promotion, retail merchandising, or a similar customer‑facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage diverse customers with confidence.
- Honest, reliable, and highly accountable for personal and team sales outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work under target‑driven environments and deliver measurable revenue growth.
- Proficiency in basic inventory management and reporting tools.
