This role is critical for maintaining healthy loan portfolios, building strong relationships with borrowers, and ensuring timely repayment while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily field visits to residential and commercial borrowers within the assigned Yogyakarta zone to collect outstanding payments.
- Verify borrower identities, confirm payment amounts, and obtain signed receipts or digital confirmations.
- Negotiate repayment plans, handle objections, and provide clear explanations of loan terms and penalties.
- Update collection status in the company’s CRM system in real‑time, ensuring data accuracy for reporting and analysis.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly reports on collection performance, including amounts recovered, delinquency trends, and any escalations.
- Collaborate closely with the credit risk and legal departments to flag high‑risk accounts and initiate further action when necessary.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while representing the company in the community, thereby enhancing brand reputation.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on credit law, negotiation techniques, and data privacy compliance.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Maximum age: 55 years.
- Open to all genders.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in field collection, loan servicing, or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of credit law (Hukum Kredit) and the ability to apply it in everyday interactions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a focus on conflict resolution.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules, routes, and borrower circumstances.
- Valid, active SIM C and ownership of a reliable motorcycle for daily travel.
- In‑depth familiarity with the geography of Yogyakarta, including major neighborhoods and local landmarks.
- Professional references such as a work experience letter, “paklaring,” or any documentation that confirms prior collection experience.
- Commitment to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and willingness to perform field work as required.
