Introduction
We are a dynamic, fast‑growing restaurant chain looking to enhance our front‑of‑house team with an Experienced Restaurant Service Waiter. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage items.
- Take accurate orders, input them into the POS system, and ensure timely delivery to the kitchen.
- Serve meals and drinks with precision, checking for guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area, including setting and resetting tables between courses.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow waitstaff to coordinate service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve minor complaints, and elevate any issues to the floor manager when necessary.
- Process payments, issue receipts, and manage cash handling procedures responsibly.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and restaurant policy standards, including proper hand‑washing and sanitizing protocols.
- Participate in pre‑shift briefings, menu tastings, and ongoing training sessions to stay updated on new offerings.
- Assist with inventory checks for tableware, linens, and service supplies, reporting shortages promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in restaurant service or a similar hospitality role.
- Professional, well‑groomed appearance with a friendly demeanor.
- Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to work collaboratively under pressure.
- Flexibility to work shift schedules, including early evenings, while maintaining punctuality.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia (additional language proficiency is a plus).
- Age not exceeding 27 years at the time of application.
- Not currently enrolled in any academic program; full availability for the required hours.
- Submission of a signed cover letter (Surat Lamaran Kerja) along with the resume.
- Demonstrated proficiency in food and beverage service techniques, including knowledge of proper plating and beverage pairing.
