Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Staff Perawat Hemodialysis to join our multidisciplinary renal care team. This full‑time position is based in a modern dialysis center that serves a diverse patient population, ranging from chronic kidney disease sufferers to acute renal failure cases. Responsibilities
- Prepare and operate hemodialysis machines, ensuring all settings comply with physician orders and safety protocols.
- Perform pre‑dialysis assessments, including vital signs, weight measurement, and evaluation of vascular access sites.
- Administer anticoagulants and monitor patient reactions throughout the treatment session.
- Provide comprehensive patient education on self‑care, fluid restrictions, dietary guidelines, and signs of complications.
- Document all treatment parameters, patient responses, and any adverse events in the electronic medical record (EMR) with meticulous accuracy.
- Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, social workers, and other nursing staff to develop individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, sterile environment by adhering to infection‑control standards, including proper disinfection of equipment and disposal of biohazardous waste.
- Assist in emergency situations, such as hypotensive episodes or dialysis circuit alarms, by executing established emergency response procedures.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives, including audits, patient satisfaction surveys, and staff training sessions.
- Support the onboarding of new dialysis patients by guiding them through the registration process and answering logistical questions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a nursing diploma or related health‑care certification is highly preferred.
