Introduction
We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Acquisition Merchant (EDC) professional to join our growing team in the Kabupaten Tapin area. This role focuses on expanding our network of small and medium enterprises (UMKM) by promoting and selling electronic debit card (EDC) machines. The ideal candidate will combine a strong sales mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships with local merchants, helping them modernize payment options while driving our market penetration.
Responsibilities
- Conduct daily canvassing visits to UMKM outlets throughout Kabupaten Tapin, presenting the benefits of our EDC solutions.
- Achieve a sales target of 2‑3 EDC units per day by identifying prospects, delivering product demonstrations, and closing deals.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential merchants, updating CRM records with accurate contact information and activity logs.
- Provide post‑sale support, including installation coordination, training merchants on device usage, and troubleshooting basic issues.
- Collaborate with the regional sales manager to forecast demand, report progress, and suggest improvements to sales strategies.
- Gather market intelligence on competitor offerings, pricing, and promotional activities to keep the company’s value proposition competitive.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and occasional training sessions to stay current on product features, compliance standards, and sales techniques.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, local regulations, and safety standards while on the road.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in a sales role, preferably in financial services or technology equipment.
- All genders are welcome; the position is open to both male and female candidates.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) and ownership of a two‑wheel vehicle for field visits.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey technical information in simple terms.
- Basic analytical abilities to assess sales data, track performance metrics, and adjust tactics accordingly.
- Self‑motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently while meeting daily targets.
- No upper age limit; we value experience and dedication over age.
