Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger entries by recording all financial transactions in accordance with company policies and Indonesian GAAP.
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.
- Prepare and reconcile bank statements, inter‑company accounts, and balance‑sheet schedules on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the month‑end and year‑end closing processes, generating trial balances, journal entries, and supporting documentation for auditors.
- Produce internal financial reports such as profit and loss statements, budget variance analyses, and cash‑flow forecasts for senior management.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Accurate, Zahir) to automate routine tasks, streamline data entry, and improve reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including procurement, sales, and HR—to resolve accounting discrepancies and support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, preparing necessary documentation for VAT, corporate income tax, and other statutory filings.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, recommend best practices, and assist in implementing new accounting controls.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience as a staff accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong command of accounting instruments and principles, with the ability to produce accurate journal entries and financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as ERP, SAP, Accurate, Zahir, or comparable platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills, high attention to detail, and a commitment to data integrity.
- Effective communication abilities in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English, enabling clear interaction with internal stakeholders.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the capacity to work independently under tight deadlines.
