We are currently seeking a diligent and motivated Sorter Gudang Ekspedisi to join our warehouse team. Responsibilities
- Sort and group incoming parcels according to destination area or shipping code, ensuring each package is placed on the correct outbound lane.
- Scan barcodes using handheld devices, verify that the system data matches the physical package, and promptly resolve any mismatches.
- Inspect each parcel for damage, correct labeling, and proper sealing; report any anomalies to the supervisor.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, containers, and pallets, following safety protocols and weight distribution guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sorting tables, conveyor belts, and staging zones.
- Participate in daily briefings to understand priority shipments, special handling instructions, and any changes in routing.
- Support inventory reconciliation by conducting spot checks and updating system records as needed.
- Collaborate with the quality‑control team to ensure compliance with company standards and customer service level agreements.
- Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives by suggesting layout adjustments or workflow enhancements.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security policies, wearing required personal protective equipment at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age: 18 – 45 years.
- Gender: Female (candidates of any gender are welcome to apply).
- No prior work experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Basic computer literacy, especially familiarity with barcode scanning devices and warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift packages up to 20 kg for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
