Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of specialty coffee drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, latte art, pour‑over, and cold brew, adhering to our precise recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and workstations, performing routine cleaning and daily deep‑clean tasks.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices safely, performing regular calibrations and troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
- Engage with customers, taking orders accurately, offering product recommendations, and educating guests about coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
- Handle cash transactions, process digital payments, and ensure accurate cash drawer reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate closely with teammates to manage peak‑hour traffic, ensuring timely service and minimizing wait times.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other consumables, and communicate restocking needs to the store manager.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new menu items, seasonal offerings, and emerging coffee trends.
- Uphold health, safety, and food‑handling regulations in compliance with local laws and company policies.
- Contribute ideas for menu enhancements, promotional events, and community engagement activities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (per company policy) with a professional demeanor.
- Age: 18‑27 years old.
- At least 1 year of proven experience as a barista in a specialty coffee environment.
- Demonstrated barista skills, including espresso extraction, milk frothing, and latte art.
- Strong teamwork orientation – ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers during busy periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, customer‑focused attitude.
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling and inventory tracking.
- Flexibility to work a Monday‑Saturday schedule, from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Passion for coffee culture and a willingness to stay updated on industry trends.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg of supplies.
