Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Security Operations Specialist to join our team and ensure the safety and smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to respond quickly to security incidents. This role is critical in maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets while supporting our organization’s commitment to safety excellence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas, including entry points, parking facilities, and perimeter zones, to deter and detect unauthorized activities.
- Conduct regular security inspections and risk assessments, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, coordinating with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incident reports, and visitor registrations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Manage access control systems, verify identification, and enforce entry protocols for staff, contractors, and guests.
- Provide assistance and guidance to visitors, offering a professional and courteous presence that reflects the company’s values.
- Operate and oversee surveillance equipment, reviewing footage to identify potential security breaches.
- Support the development and implementation of security procedures, emergency response plans, and training programs for new security personnel.
- Coordinate vehicle inspections and parking management, ensuring that only authorized vehicles access designated areas.
- Participate in shift rotations, working a 2‑day on / 2‑day off schedule, and remain flexible to cover weekend duties as required.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Professional appearance and the ability to project authority and confidence.
- Honesty, diligence, quick responsiveness, and strong social skills.
- Prior experience in security or related fields is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license (SIM A) and personal vehicle for valet‑parking duties.
- Possession of a current security membership certificate or KTA (mandatory).
- Willingness to work Monday through Sunday, with a rotating shift pattern of two days on, two days off.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, make sound decisions, and document incidents accurately.
