Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Teknisi Lapangan Wireless to join our growing operations team in Jakarta. This hands‑on field technician will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our wireless network infrastructure across the Greater Jakarta area, with a primary base at our Cengkareng Operational Office. The role is ideal for recent graduates of SMA/SMK (preferably with a focus on Technical Computer and Communication – TKJ) who are eager to develop practical skills in tower work, on‑site maintenance, and network installation while working in a dynamic, fast‑paced telecommunications environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform high‑altitude work on towers, rooftops, and rooftops (atas, dak) safely and in compliance with all safety regulations.
- Execute on‑site maintenance, installation, dismantling, upgrades, downgrades, and relocation of wireless links according to project specifications.
- Document all work activities meticulously, including photographs, site reports, and equipment logs, to ensure traceability and support future audits.
- Prepare and manage the procurement of tools, cables, antennas, and other equipment needed for each assignment.
- Assemble and terminate network cables, conduct fiber splicing when required, and verify signal integrity using test equipment.
- Coordinate with the network operations center (NOC) to schedule work windows, report incidents, and verify post‑installation performance.
- Provide technical support to field crews and assist junior staff in learning best practices for wireless infrastructure work.
- Participate in shift rotations, including early morning and night shifts, to ensure 24/7 network availability.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite, adhering to company policies on waste disposal and equipment handling.
- Continuously improve personal technical knowledge through on‑the‑job training, vendor certifications, and internal workshops.
Requirements
- Male candidate, aged 18‑26 years; unmarried status is preferred but not mandatory.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; technical background in TKJ is highly desirable.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in wireless field work or a similar technical role.
- Comfortable working at heights and possessing a strong safety mindset.
- Own reliable transportation and a valid active SIM C driving license.
- Not currently enrolled in any academic program (full‑time availability required).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with an adaptable attitude to changing work conditions.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow direction from supervisors.
- Willingness to work shift schedules, including weekends if operational demands arise.
- Readiness to be placed at the Cengkareng, West Jakarta operational office.
