Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Staff Accounting & Financial Reporting professional to join our finance team. This full‑time position operates Monday through Friday, from 08:30 to 17:30, and reports directly to the Finance Manager. The role is open to female candidates who hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and possess a minimum of one year of relevant experience. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play an essential part in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of our financial records.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire daily accounting cycle, from recording transactions to closing the monthly books.
- Prepare core financial statements—including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement—ensuring they are accurate and delivered on schedule.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Maintain organized archives of supporting documents such as invoices, tax invoices, and receipts in strict accordance with the company’s SOPs.
- Calculate, report, and coordinate corporate tax obligations (PPh, PPN), staying current with the latest Indonesian tax regulations.
- Provide detailed financial data and analysis for internal and external audit processes, facilitating smooth audit outcomes.
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including journal entry preparation, accruals, and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives by gathering historical data and contributing to financial models.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as procurement, sales, and operations—to resolve accounting issues and improve internal controls.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects, recommending automation or process enhancements using accounting software.
- Mentor junior accounting staff, sharing best practices and ensuring adherence to accounting standards.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting from a reputable university with a GPA of at least 3.00.
- Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in accounting or audit; experience in a Public Accounting Firm is a strong plus.
- Technical Skills:
- In‑depth knowledge of Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and current tax regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, complex formulas).
- Hands‑on experience with accounting software such as Accurate, Xero, or SAP.
- Soft Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Professional communication skills for effective coordination with internal stakeholders, vendors, and clients.
- High level of honesty and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
