Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, answer menu questions, and provide recommendations based on seasonal specials and guest preferences.
- Communicate orders promptly to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring timing and presentation meet the restaurant’s standards.
- Serve dishes and drinks efficiently, checking in with guests to confirm satisfaction and address any concerns immediately.
- Handle payment transactions, process credit cards, and issue receipts while maintaining strict cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing glassware, and ensuring a tidy workstation.
- Collaborate closely with fellow servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service flow during peak periods.
- Monitor inventory of tableware, napkins, and condiments, reporting shortages to management for timely replenishment.
- Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, participating in regular training sessions and safety drills.
- Continuously seek opportunities to upsell and promote special menus, contributing to overall sales targets and guest satisfaction scores.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 28 years old; both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Honest, disciplined, and responsible with a strong sense of accountability.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Active, creative, and adaptable to changing service demands.
- Prior experience in the F&B sector is a strong advantage, though motivated newcomers with a service‑mindset are also welcome.
- Proficient in basic food and beverage service techniques, including knowledge of menu items, wine pairing basics, and safe handling of allergens.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during special events.
