Introduction

The Hotel & Resort Group is seeking a talented Chef de Partie Pastry (CDP) to join our dynamic culinary team. This position is ideal for a creative, results‑driven pastry professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment. Working Monday through Saturday, you will be responsible for preparing high‑quality pastries, breads, and desserts that reflect the brand’s commitment to excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and execute a wide range of pastries, breads, viennoiseries, and plated desserts in accordance with the hotel’s standards and seasonal menu concepts.
  • Manage daily production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of all pastry items for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations, conducting regular checks and documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Pastry Chef and other kitchen stations to develop new recipes, improve existing products, and incorporate guest feedback.
  • Train and mentor junior pastry staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, continuous learning, and high performance.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders for raw materials, and control waste to meet budgetary targets.
  • Ensure that all pastry displays are visually appealing, properly labeled, and aligned with brand presentation guidelines.
  • Participate in menu tastings, product development meetings, and culinary innovation workshops.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of banquets, weddings, and other large‑scale events, providing customized dessert solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: D3/D4 in Culinary Arts, Pastry & Baking, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar pastry role within a hotel, resort, or high‑end restaurant environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.
  • Highly motivated, creative, and innovative mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a collaborative team‑player spirit.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and occasional weekends for special events.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
