We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated individual to join our Faculty of Pharmacy as a Lecturer for the D3 Pharmacy Program. Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality lectures, tutorials, and laboratory sessions for D3 Pharmacy courses, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum and accreditation standards.
- Develop, update, and innovate course syllabi, teaching materials, and assessment tools to reflect current industry practices and scientific advancements.
- Guide and supervise undergraduate research projects, theses, and practical internships, providing constructive feedback and mentorship.
- Participate actively in faculty meetings, curriculum committees, and accreditation review processes.
- Conduct original research in pharmaceutical sciences, publish findings in reputable journals, and present at national and international conferences.
- Engage in community outreach programs, including health education campaigns, drug safety workshops, and collaborations with local hospitals and pharmacies.
- Maintain academic integrity, adhere to university policies, and uphold ethical standards in all professional activities.
- Support administrative duties such as student advising, grading, and preparation of academic reports.
- Continuously pursue professional development opportunities to stay current with emerging trends in pharmacy education and practice.
Requirements
Ideal candidates will meet the following academic, professional, and personal criteria:
- Graduate degree in Pharmacy (Apoteker) or a Master’s degree in Pharmacy (Magister Farmasi).
- Academic background that includes a D3 Pharmacy qualification and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 for S1 and 3.5 for S2 from a university accredited by BAN‑PT.
- Willingness to reside permanently in Palembang, South Sumatra.
- No current employment as a civil servant or permanent staff at another institution.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Tri Dharma of higher education.
- Clean legal and professional record – no history of criminal issues, unresolved financial obligations, or disciplinary actions.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and pedagogical skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Proficiency in Indonesian language; English proficiency is an advantage for research publication.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with learning management systems and virtual classroom tools.
