Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and courteous demeanor, addressing inquiries about product specifications, pricing, and care.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of gold purity standards, current market trends, and the unique features of each jewelry piece.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system, including cash handling, credit card processing, and issuing receipts.
- Perform regular inventory checks, ensuring that gold items are correctly logged, securely displayed, and protected against loss or damage.
- Arrange merchandise on display cases and counters to highlight new arrivals and promotional items, enhancing visual appeal.
- Collaborate with the store manager to prepare daily sales reports, monitor stock levels, and recommend re‑ordering of popular items.
- Uphold store security protocols, including verifying customer identification for high‑value purchases and monitoring for suspicious activity.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as updating product catalogs, handling customer feedback, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay current on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance with industry regulations.
Requirements
- Female candidates, aged between 18 and 22 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Preferably residing in Rogojampi or the nearby Sumberayu area.
- Strong work ethic with a sincere desire to work, demonstrating honesty, friendliness, meticulousness, and discipline.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to convey product details clearly.
- Basic numeracy and comfort with handling cash and electronic payment systems.
- Professional appearance; candidates who do not wear a hijab are preferred according to store policy.
- Ability to work a full schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
- Familiarity with retail management software or a willingness to learn quickly.
