Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Kasir Penjualan Ritel to join our fast‑growing retail team. This full‑time position is based in a busy store environment where the cashier serves as the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions, providing friendly service, and ensuring a smooth checkout experience. The role offers a stable schedule from Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and is open to candidates of all genders who meet the minimum education criteria.
Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently, scanning items, applying discounts, and processing cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances, perform end‑of‑day reconciliation, and report any discrepancies to the store manager.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product‑related questions, and provide recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policy while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Monitor and restock merchandise around the checkout area to keep the space tidy and inviting.
- Assist with inventory counts and help identify shrinkage issues by reporting suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with floor staff to ensure smooth traffic flow during peak hours and special promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout station, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new product lines, POS upgrades, and customer‑service best practices.
- Provide feedback to management on customer trends, common complaints, and suggestions for operational improvements.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: No upper limit; candidates of any age are welcome.
