Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Midwife (Bidan Profesional) to join our growing maternal health team. This role is critical in delivering high‑quality prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns within our network of clinics and hospitals. The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of hands‑on experience, a strong commitment to patient safety, and the ability to collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and community health workers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive prenatal assessments, including routine examinations, ultrasound coordination, and risk‑identification.
- Develop individualized birth plans in partnership with expectant mothers, ensuring cultural sensitivity and informed consent.
- Provide labor and delivery support, monitoring fetal heart rates, managing pain relief options, and performing emergency interventions when necessary.
- Deliver post‑natal care, including newborn assessments, breastfeeding counseling, and maternal health education.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date medical records in accordance with national health regulations and hospital protocols.
- Participate in community outreach programs to promote maternal health awareness and preventive care.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of the required SIP (Surat Izin Praktik) paperwork, ensuring all licensing requirements are met.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement evidence‑based practices and improve service delivery.
- Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct at all times.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3 or D4 in Midwifery (Kebidanan) from an accredited institution.
- Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) and willingness to obtain an SIP.
- Maximum age: 28 years.
- At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience; fresh graduates with strong internship performance are also welcome.
- Demonstrated traits of discipline, diligence, honesty, and responsibility.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate clearly with patients and colleagues.
- Proficiency in basic health information systems and documentation software.
- Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Physical stamina to handle long shifts and stand for extended periods.
