Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic Kepala Bengkel Otomotif dan Pengelolaan Layanan Mekanik to lead our automotive service workshop located in the thriving metropolitan area covering Depok, Bekasi, and Bogor. This pivotal role oversees the daily operations of a high‑volume service center, ensuring that every vehicle receives top‑quality maintenance and repair while delivering an exceptional customer experience. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to drive efficiency, safety, and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of mechanics, technicians, and support staff to meet service targets and quality standards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for diagnostics, repair, and preventive maintenance.
- Manage the workshop’s workflow, including appointment scheduling, job allocation, and prioritization of urgent repairs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnaround time, first‑time fix rate, and customer satisfaction, and take corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory of parts, tools, and consumables; negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal pricing and delivery terms.
- Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports using MS Excel, highlighting trends, cost variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies.
- Conduct regular training sessions and performance reviews to foster continuous skill development and teamwork.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, handling complaints, and providing transparent service estimates.
- Collaborate with the sales and parts departments to promote service packages, warranty work, and upselling opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: S1 (Bachelor’s degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or Business Management.
- At least 2–3 years of proven experience in an automotive service environment, preferably within an AHASS (Astra Honda Authorized Service Station) network.
- Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and senior management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic IT tools for reporting and inventory control.
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Depok, Bekasi, or Bogor area.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
