Responsibilities
- Conduct end‑to‑end procurement processes, including requisition review, supplier selection, quotation analysis, and purchase order issuance.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and service level agreements with vendors to achieve optimal cost savings and quality standards.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date supplier database, evaluate performance metrics, and recommend improvements or alternative sources when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with the finance and inventory teams to ensure accurate budgeting, cost allocation, and stock level monitoring.
- Prepare and present regular procurement reports, highlighting spend analysis, savings achieved, and potential risks.
- Monitor market conditions and price fluctuations to anticipate supply challenges and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and corporate social responsibility standards throughout the purchasing cycle.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the purchasing department.
- Support ad‑hoc projects such as supplier audits, cost‑benefit analyses, and process optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree (S1) in any field is considered a plus.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in purchasing, procurement, or logistics.
- Solid understanding of purchasing cycles, supply chain fundamentals, and contract management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret pricing data, market trends, and supplier performance.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasive communication abilities.
- Proficiency in data management tools (Excel, ERP systems) and report generation.
- Knowledge of cost‑control techniques, logistics cost analysis, and vendor evaluation methods.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and adapt to changing priorities.
