Responsibilities
- Design, prepare, and deliver engaging Arabic language lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school standards.
- Develop comprehensive lesson plans that incorporate reading of kitab kuning, mastery of nahwu‑shorof, and modern communicative approaches.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, oral examinations, and written assignments, providing constructive feedback and individualized support.
- Coordinate and supervise extracurricular activities such as Arabic clubs, debate teams, and cultural events to deepen students’ appreciation of Arab heritage.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress in the school’s digital management system.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum coordinators, and school leadership to integrate cross‑disciplinary projects that reinforce language skills.
- Engage with parents and guardians through regular conferences, progress reports, and community outreach, fostering transparent communication.
- Uphold school policies, demonstrate unwavering loyalty, and contribute to a positive, respectful learning environment.
- Participate in professional development workshops, seminars, and training sessions to stay current with pedagogical best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s (S1) or Master’s (S2) degree in Arabic Language, Education, or a related field.
- Strong academic background, preferably a graduate of a public university (PTN).
- No current contractual ties with other educational institutions.
- Demonstrated loyalty and the ability to adhere to institutional regulations.
- For Madrasah Diniyah (Madin) teaching:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting kitab kuning.
- Solid command of Arabic grammar (nahwu) and morphology (shorof).
- Completion of at least five years of formal pesantren education.
- Fluency in Arabic is essential; proficiency in English is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse backgrounds.
