Introduction
We are seeking a diligent Petugas Pengumpulan Data Lapangan to join our field collection team in Balikpapan. This role is vital for maintaining healthy cash flow by conducting on‑site visits to delinquent borrowers, delivering official warning letters, and negotiating realistic repayment plans. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, detail‑oriented male professional who can balance firm compliance with empathetic communication.
The position operates Monday through Friday, from 09:00 to 18:00, and offers a dynamic work environment where you will collaborate closely with supervisors, credit analysts, and the broader finance department.
Responsibilities
- Visit debtors in person and deliver Surat Peringatan (SP) for accounts overdue by more than 20 days.
- Validate the debtor’s current situation, perform a quick credit analysis, and assess the feasibility of repayment.
- Negotiate and propose tailored payment options, ensuring they align with company policies and the debtor’s cash‑flow capabilities.
- Track promised payment dates, follow up diligently, and re‑engage debtors who miss scheduled payments.
- Locate customers who are unreachable at their primary residence or workplace by using alternative contact methods and field verification techniques.
- Verify and update all customer data, including phone numbers, mailing addresses, and any relevant identification details.
- Prepare detailed activity reports after each visit and discuss outcomes with the supervisor to refine collection strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timestamped notes of every interaction in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the legal department when escalations are required for severely delinquent accounts.
- Adhere strictly to data‑privacy regulations and internal compliance guidelines during all field activities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Male gender, as specified by the client’s operational policy.
- Maximum age of 50 years.
- No prior experience required; fresh graduates with strong interpersonal skills are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in debt collection processes and strong negotiation abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written, in Bahasa Indonesia.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time efficiently, and navigate the Balikpapan area.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and report generation.
- Physical stamina to travel to various locations, often requiring walking or short commutes.
