Responsibilities

The Gelato Service Staff will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of our gelato bar and dining area. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Greeting guests warmly, presenting menu options, and providing detailed explanations of flavors, ingredients, and serving suggestions.
  • Preparing and scooping gelato according to precise portion standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of the gelato station, display cases, and surrounding service areas in accordance with health regulations.
  • Collaborating closely with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to coordinate orders, manage peak service periods, and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of gelato tubs, toppings, and service supplies, and communicating restocking needs to the manager.
  • Participating in regular training sessions on new flavors, service techniques, and customer service excellence.
  • Upholding the restaurant’s brand image by adhering to dress code, grooming standards, and a courteous demeanor at all times.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum D3/D4 qualification.
  • Gender: Female (per company policy).
  • Age: Up to 30 years old.
  • Experience: At least 6 years in food and beverage service, with a minimum of 6 months specifically in gelato or dessert service.
  • Key Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Strong team spirit and the ability to collaborate in a fast‑paced environment.
    • Friendly, approachable, and adaptable personality.
    • Humility, eagerness to learn, and a proactive attitude toward personal growth.
    • Responsibility and reliability in handling cash transactions and inventory control.
    • Proficient in food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
