We are seeking a motivated and friendly Kasir (Cabang Gresik) – Penjualan Ritel to join our bustling retail team. Responsibilities
- Handle cash, credit, and electronic transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring the cash drawer balances at the end of each shift.
- Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries about products, promotions, and store policies, and provide recommendations to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting checkout area, including regular sanitization of the POS terminal and surrounding surfaces.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company procedures while preserving customer goodwill.
- Assist with inventory control by reporting low‑stock items, participating in periodic stock counts, and updating the POS system with new merchandise.
- Collaborate with floor staff to resolve pricing discrepancies, promotional issues, and customer complaints promptly.
- Prepare daily sales reports, reconcile cash receipts, and submit documentation to the branch manager for review.
- Adhere to all security and loss‑prevention protocols, including verifying customer identification for high‑value transactions.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with product knowledge, POS software updates, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Open to all candidates (no upper age limit).
- Gender: All genders welcome.
- Strong verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Presentable, neat, and professional appearance at all times.
- Friendly, disciplined, and able to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Prior experience in a cashier or retail setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with basic cashier systems and willingness to learn our specific POS software.
- Ability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods.
