Responsibilities
- Provide direct assistance to registered nurses by transporting patients between wards, operating rooms, and diagnostic units.
- Collect and deliver prescribed medications, ensuring correct patient identification and proper documentation.
- Enter and update room and equipment needs in the hospital’s electronic management system, guaranteeing real‑time availability of resources.
- Assist with basic patient care tasks such as positioning, hygiene support, and monitoring vital signs under supervision.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas, including the proper disposal of medical waste in accordance with infection‑control protocols.
- Operate standard computer applications (e‑mail, scheduling software, electronic health records) to record patient movements, medication logs, and supply requisitions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication during shift changes and emergency situations.
- Participate in routine training sessions and competency assessments to stay current with hospital policies, patient‑safety initiatives, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 in Nursing, Medical Assistance, or a related health science discipline.
- Gender: Female candidates only, in accordance with the specific patient‑care preferences of our unit.
- Age: Up to 35 years old at the time of application.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience as a Health Care Assistant (HCA) or similar role in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with standard computer software, particularly electronic health‑record (EHR) systems and inventory management tools.
- Core Competencies: Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and a genuine commitment to patient wellbeing.
- Availability: Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional overtime during peak periods or emergencies.
