Introduction
Madukismo, a leading retailer in the region, is seeking a diligent and customer‑focused Cashier (Kasir) to join our sales floor team. This position is essential to ensuring smooth, accurate, and friendly transaction processing for our diverse clientele. The ideal candidate will be a detail‑oriented individual with a strong sense of responsibility, capable of handling cash, credit, and digital payments while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Process all sales transactions efficiently using the store’s point‑of‑sale (POS) system, ensuring accuracy of cash, debit, credit, and e‑wallet payments.
- Verify product prices, apply discounts or promotions, and issue receipts in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift, conducting regular reconciliations and reporting discrepancies immediately.
- Provide courteous assistance to customers, answering inquiries about products, pricing, and store policies.
- Assist with inventory counts, restocking shelves, and preparing sales reports as needed.
- Monitor and enforce loss‑prevention procedures, including checking IDs for age‑restricted items and spotting counterfeit currency.
- Collaborate with fellow team members, supervisors, and the finance department to resolve any transaction issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all equipment (scanners, printers, cash registers) is functional.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new POS features, promotional campaigns, and customer‑service standards.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (preferred to align with store’s service model).
- Education: Minimum SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: No specific maximum; candidates should be ready to start immediately.
- Experience: No prior experience required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

- Availability: Must be able to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
