- Serve meals and beverages promptly, ensuring proper presentation, correct portion sizes, and adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor table settings throughout service, promptly clearing used dishes, refilling drinks, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
- Process payments using POS systems, handle cash transactions, and issue receipts while maintaining strict accuracy.
- Upsell additional menu items, such as desserts, specialty drinks, or promotional offers, to increase average check values.
- Collaborate with fellow servers, bartenders, and hosts to manage floor flow, handle peak‑hour rushes, and resolve any service issues quickly.
- Maintain knowledge of health and safety regulations, ensuring all food handling and sanitation practices meet industry standards.
- Participate in regular pre‑shift briefings and post‑shift debriefs to discuss performance, guest feedback, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality or Hotel Management is preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of hands‑on experience as a waiter/waitress or in a comparable customer‑service role within the restaurant industry.
