Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Surveyor to join our growing team in Boroko, Sulawesi Utara. This position plays a critical role in our credit evaluation process, conducting on‑site assessments of potential borrowers and ensuring that financing decisions are based on accurate, verified information. As part of a dynamic financial services organization, you will work closely with the credit department, dealer networks, and prospective customers to support responsible lending and drive business growth in the region.
Responsibilities
- Conduct field surveys of prospective consumers to evaluate their eligibility for financing, using standardized assessment tools and checklists.
- Verify all submitted data and documentation—including identification, income proof, and collateral details—in strict accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare detailed, timely survey reports that summarize findings, highlight risk factors, and include photographic evidence where appropriate.
- Provide actionable recommendations to the credit team, outlining the suitability of each applicant and suggesting appropriate financing structures.
- Maintain professional, courteous relationships with prospective borrowers, local dealers, and partner organizations to foster trust and facilitate smooth information exchange.
- Monitor and follow up on pending documentation, ensuring that all required paperwork is complete before final credit decisions are made.
- Identify market trends and potential opportunities for the credit portfolio by reporting on regional consumer behavior and dealer performance.
- Adhere to health, safety, and travel protocols while operating in various field environments, ensuring personal safety and data confidentiality.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age of 30 years; all genders are welcome to apply for equivalent positions.
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or higher (D4); a background in finance, economics, or related fields is advantageous.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in surveying, credit assessment, or loan financing; prior work as a field surveyor is a strong plus.
- Own a reliable motorcycle and hold a valid SIM C (motorcycle driving license) for efficient field mobility.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, analyze financial data, and make sound judgments under pressure.
- Clean credit history with a positive SLIK‑BI (Indonesia’s credit information system) record.
- High attention to detail, honesty, discipline, and the ability to work independently in field conditions.
- Proficient in using mobile data collection tools, GPS navigation, and basic office software for report generation.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers, dealers, and internal teams.
