Introduction

We are seeking a motivated Steward of Guest Services to join our vibrant Japanese‑style restaurant that serves authentic non‑halal cuisine. The position is open immediately, offering a competitive salary range of IDR 2.4‑3 million per month, flexible shift patterns, and on‑site mess facilities for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and dining area by washing dishes, utensils, cookware, and equipment according to health‑code standards.
  • Assist chefs and kitchen staff in preparing and plating non‑halal dishes, ensuring that all food safety protocols are strictly followed.
  • Support front‑of‑house operations by promptly clearing tables, resetting settings, and responding to guest inquiries with a courteous and professional demeanor.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling processes, contributing to the restaurant’s sustainability initiatives.
  • Perform routine inventory checks of cleaning supplies and kitchen linens, reporting shortages to the supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Operate under high‑pressure conditions during peak service periods while maintaining composure and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to uphold the restaurant’s standards for speed, quality, and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Male candidates only; age 35 years or younger.
  • No prior experience required – we welcome enthusiastic newcomers willing to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and multitask in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Willingness to handle non‑halal food preparation and dishwashing responsibilities.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude toward teamwork.
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and safety regulations; any certification is a plus.
