Introduction
The Manajer Aset Lapangan (Pengumpul) position based in Karo‑Kabanjahe is a pivotal role within our automotive financing division. As a field asset manager, you will act as the frontline liaison between the company and our motor product customers, ensuring timely repayment of installments, safeguarding company assets, and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role blends on‑site investigation, negotiation, and logistical coordination, offering a dynamic work environment for individuals who thrive in field‑based operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular visits to customers with overdue motor loan installments (past due 1‑60 days) to negotiate payment plans and collect outstanding amounts.
- Deliver formal warning letters and notices to delinquent borrowers, ensuring clear communication of consequences and repayment options.
- Secure company assets by arranging the retrieval or repossession of vehicles when repayment agreements cannot be met.
- Maintain accurate daily logs of visits, conversations, and collection outcomes in the company’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with the credit and legal departments to coordinate legal actions when necessary.
- Provide feedback to the underwriting team regarding risk trends observed in the field.
- Ensure all activities comply with local regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
- Utilize a personal two‑wheel vehicle and a valid SIM C/A to reach remote locations efficiently.
- Participate in weekly briefing meetings to discuss collection targets, challenges, and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate or Bachelor degree) in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Valid driver’s license (SIM C/A) and personal motorcycle; ability to drive a car is a strong advantage.
- Residency in Karo‑Kabanjahe or surrounding areas.
- No upper age limit; candidates of any gender are welcome.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasive communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail for accurate record‑keeping.
- Ability to work independently in the field and manage a flexible schedule (typically 08:00‑17:00).
- Basic proficiency with mobile reporting tools and Microsoft Office suite.
- Prior experience in collections, field sales, or asset recovery is beneficial but not mandatory.
