Responsibilities

- Maintain strict hygiene and food‑safety standards, ensuring all work areas, equipment, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized according to company policy.
- Monitor inventory levels of flour, sugars, fats, and decorative supplies, and coordinate with the purchasing team to place timely orders.
- Train junior kitchen staff on proper baking techniques, portion control, and decorative skills, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Manage production schedules to meet daily demand while minimizing waste and adhering to budget constraints.
- Collaborate with the front‑of‑house team to ensure timely delivery of baked goods for service, catering events, and special promotions.
- Adapt quickly to high‑pressure situations, such as large catering orders or unexpected peak periods, while maintaining product quality.
- Document any recipe adjustments, production notes, and quality checks for continuous improvement and traceability.
- Participate in weekend and national holiday shifts as required, ensuring consistent product availability.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a background in culinary arts or pastry is a strong advantage.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on experience in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen.
- Proficient in using ovens, mixers, proofers, and other baking equipment; familiarity with pastry tools such as piping bags, molds, and decorating tips.
- Demonstrated ability to create and embellish breads, cakes, and pastries with high aesthetic standards.
- Strong teamwork skills and the capability to work independently when required.
- Excellent time‑management abilities; able to prioritize tasks and meet strict production deadlines.
