Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Guru Bimbingan Belajar (Bimbel) to join our tutoring team in Cengkareng, West Jakarta. This role focuses on delivering high‑quality instruction to students ranging from elementary (SD) to high school (SMA) across core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, and English. The ideal candidate is passionate about education, possesses strong communication skills, and can create an engaging, supportive learning environment that helps students achieve academic success.
Responsibilities
- Deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons in Mathematics, Science, and English to students from SD to SMA, adapting teaching methods to suit varying learning styles.
- Break down complex concepts into clear, understandable explanations, using visual aids, real‑world examples, and interactive activities.
- Guide students through homework assignments, project work, and exam preparation, providing constructive feedback and individualized support.
- Foster an interactive, comfortable, and enjoyable classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity and active participation.
- Monitor each student’s progress through regular assessments, maintain detailed performance records, and communicate results to parents or guardians.
- Collaborate with fellow tutors and curriculum developers to continuously improve teaching materials and strategies.
- Participate in professional development workshops and training sessions to stay current with educational best practices and emerging technologies.
- Maintain punctuality, adhere to the agreed‑upon schedule, and uphold the institution’s standards of discipline and integrity.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience, preferably with middle‑school (SMP) students.
- Strong command of Mathematics, Science, and English language curricula.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to build rapport with children of various ages.
- Demonstrated discipline, integrity, and a sense of responsibility.
- Reside in or be willing to commute to Cengkareng, West Jakarta.
- Ability to work flexible hours; schedule can be adjusted to meet student needs.
- Proficiency in using digital learning tools, virtual whiteboards, and online assessment platforms is a plus.
