We are seeking a motivated Kitchen Assistant to support our cooking operations in the vibrant culinary hub of Cisarua, Puncak. This full‑time position plays a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency, cleanliness, and quality standards of our hot kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in culinary basics, at least one year of hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced food‑and‑beverage (F&B) environment, and a genuine passion for teamwork and continuous learning. Responsibilities

  • Assist chefs and line cooks in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, chopping, marinating, and portioning according to recipe specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all utensils, equipment, and surfaces are sanitized throughout the shift.
  • Support the execution of hot‑kitchen operations such as grilling, sautéing, boiling, and plating, while adhering to food safety SOPs.
  • Monitor inventory levels of perishable items, report shortages, and help with receiving and storing deliveries in proper temperature zones.
  • Coordinate with the service team to fulfill order tickets promptly, ensuring timely delivery of dishes to guests.
  • Assist in the preparation of daily specials and seasonal menus, offering creative input when appropriate.
  • Participate in regular kitchen briefings, providing feedback and suggesting process improvements.
  • Handle waste management responsibly by following recycling and disposal protocols.
  • Adapt to shift schedules, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to meet the restaurant’s operational needs.
  • Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and maintaining a neat appearance.

Requirements

  • Male or female applicants, age ≤ 30 years.
  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent, preferably with a focus on culinary arts (tata boga).
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in a hot‑kitchen F&B environment.
  • Strong communication skills; able to work effectively both in a team and independently.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure while maintaining composure and quality.
  • Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and comply with all standard operating procedures.
  • High level of discipline, honesty, responsibility, initiative, adaptability, and a strong work ethic.
  • Physical fitness and mental resilience to handle the demands of a busy kitchen.
  • Clean, professional appearance and adherence to dress code.
  • Availability to work a rotating shift schedule, Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
  • Location: Must be willing to be placed in Cisarua, Puncak.
