Introduction
PT. Nusantara Hospitality is seeking a motivated Spesialis Pengadaan Barang to join our dynamic procurement team in the vibrant city of Batu, Malang. This role is pivotal in supporting our fast‑growing restaurant and café network, ensuring that all food‑service locations receive the right products, at the right time, and at the right price. The ideal candidate will be a disciplined, honest, and team‑oriented male professional aged between 20 and 30 years, with a solid background in the F&B industry and a proven ability to handle the full procurement cycle.
Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for food, beverage, and non‑food items, ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders using the company’s ERP system, and track order status from confirmation to receipt.
- Coordinate with kitchen managers, store supervisors, and inventory teams to forecast demand and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular market research to stay informed about new products, emerging trends, and price fluctuations in the hospitality sector.
- Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including contracts, invoices, and performance metrics, using MS Excel and MS PowerPoint for reporting.
- Perform periodic supplier audits and performance reviews, addressing any service gaps or quality issues promptly.
- Assist in the development of procurement policies, standard operating procedures, and best‑practice guidelines.
- Support special projects such as menu launches, promotional events, and sustainability initiatives by sourcing eco‑friendly and locally sourced items.
- Provide timely and professional communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensuring smooth workflow and problem resolution.
Requirements
- Male candidate, aged 20‑30 years, with current domicile in Batu, Malang.
- Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; further education in business or supply chain is a plus.
- At least 1 year of hands‑on procurement experience in a restaurant, café, or other F&B establishment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis) and PowerPoint for presenting procurement data.
- Own reliable transportation and a valid driving licence (SIM) to conduct supplier visits and site inspections.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with an ability to build lasting relationships.
- Demonstrated honesty, discipline, responsibility, and a collaborative team‑spirit.
- Basic understanding of local food safety regulations and import/export compliance.
