Introduction
We are looking for a dynamic Pemimpin Lantai (Floor Leader) to join the new Mie Gacoan store in Kab. Sampang. This role is ideal for an ambitious professional who wants to grow within the fast‑moving food & beverage (F&B) industry and take ownership of day‑to‑day restaurant operations. As the floor leader you will act as the bridge between the back‑of‑house production team and the front‑of‑house service crew, ensuring a seamless guest experience while driving operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform crew duties across all stations (cashier, server, kitchen, production, barista, etc.) to maintain flexibility and lead by example.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular stock‑take (stock opname) and manage inventory levels to prevent waste and ensure product availability.
- Coordinate staff scheduling, manage shift swaps, and ensure optimal staffing levels during peak and off‑peak hours.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of new employees, fostering a culture of teamwork and high performance.
- Monitor crew performance, provide constructive feedback, and implement corrective actions to maintain service quality.
- Collaborate with vendors to evaluate raw‑material quality, negotiate terms, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends, improve menu offerings, and increase overall profitability.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, food‑handling regulations, and company policies.
- Participate in company‑wide training programs and be prepared to relocate to other Mie Gacoan locations if needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (or S1) in any field; a background in Food & Beverage is a strong advantage.
- Age not exceeding 30 years; height requirement – male ≥ 165 cm, female ≥ 160 cm.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in restaurant or café operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of motivating and developing staff.
- Analytical mindset for inventory control, cost management, and performance monitoring.
- Strong conflict‑resolution and presentation skills for handling customer issues and staff briefings.
- Good physical health with no history of chronic illness that could affect work performance.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Readiness to attend a multi‑month training program at any Mie Gacoan store; travel, accommodation, and transportation will be fully covered by the company.
