Introduction
We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Staff Legal and General Administration professional to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our corporate legal affairs, licensing, and day‑to‑day office operations run smoothly and in full compliance with Indonesian regulations, especially within the logistics sector. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between legal requirements, corporate governance, and operational excellence, supporting both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of business agreements, ensuring that all contracts align with Indonesian legal standards and company policy.
- Manage corporate governance activities, including preparation of Board of Directors (BoD) and Board of Commissioners (BoC) resolutions, maintenance of statutory company documents, and coordination of internal legal audits.
- Oversee the entire licensing process through the Online Single Submission (OSS) and RBA systems, handling applications, renewals, and any required updates.
- Continuously monitor changes in logistics‑related regulations, providing timely compliance briefings to relevant departments.
- Supervise office operations such as security, cleaning, building management, and facilities maintenance, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
- Coordinate logistics for company events, travel arrangements, and corporate meetings, acting as the primary point of contact for venue and vendor negotiations.
- Serve as a liaison for internal and external stakeholders, applying strong communication and negotiation skills to resolve disputes and facilitate collaboration.
- Prepare and deliver reports on legal risk assessments, compliance status, and operational performance to senior management.
- Support the HR team on labor law matters, including employment contracts, dispute resolution, and workforce compliance.
- Maintain an up‑to‑date legal and regulatory library, ensuring quick access to relevant statutes, guidelines, and best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience handling corporate legal matters and general affairs, preferably within a logistics or transportation company.
- Strong familiarity with Indonesian logistics regulations, licensing procedures (OSS/RBA), and related compliance frameworks.
- Excellent written and spoken English at an intermediate level; ability to draft clear legal documents in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Demonstrated negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence internal teams and external partners.
- Proactive mindset with a fast response time, high initiative, and the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, labor law, bankruptcy law, business ethics, and contract analysis.
- Proficiency in legal research tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic office management software.
