Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system accurately, scanning items, processing cash, credit, and digital payments, and issuing receipts.
- Greet customers warmly, answer product inquiries, and provide recommendations to enhance the shopping experience.
- Maintain a tidy checkout area, ensuring that counters, trays, and surrounding shelves are organized and free of clutter.
- Perform routine cash handling duties, including cash drops, end‑of‑day reconciliation, and reporting discrepancies.
- Assist with inventory control by scanning received merchandise, labeling items, and updating stock levels in the system.
- Support promotional activities by setting up displays, distributing flyers, and informing customers about special offers.
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and washing surfaces to keep the store environment clean and safe.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and supervisors to resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all company policies regarding loss prevention, health and safety, and data privacy.
- Participate in periodic training sessions to stay current on product knowledge, POS upgrades, and service standards.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female.
- Age: Must be 30 years old or younger.
- Experience: No prior experience required; on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and listen actively.
- Highly active, creative, and able to think on your feet in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Excellent manual dexterity – quick, neat, and skilled in handling cash and POS equipment.
- Willingness to perform cleaning duties, including washing, tidying, and maintaining store hygiene.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and familiarity with retail cashier systems.
- Reliability and punctuality, with availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00‑17:00.
