Introduction

We are seeking an energetic and results‑driven Sales Order Representative to cover the Jember area. This role is a frontline position responsible for expanding our retail footprint, building strong relationships with store owners, and driving product sales across a diverse geographic region that may include locations outside the city or even off‑island assignments. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with a proven track record in field sales, a reliable personal vehicle, and the flexibility to travel extensively while meeting ambitious sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and approach new retail outlets within the assigned territory, presenting the company’s product portfolio and identifying opportunities for shelf space.
  • Maintain and nurture existing client relationships by conducting regular visits, handling inquiries, and providing post‑sale support.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals, negotiate pricing, discounts, and promotional terms that align with both customer needs and company margins.
  • Gather market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends, and consumer preferences to inform strategic adjustments.
  • Accurately record all sales activities, orders, and customer feedback in the CRM system to ensure data integrity and forecasting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with logistics and inventory teams to guarantee timely delivery of orders and resolve any fulfillment issues.
  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales targets set by the regional manager, adjusting tactics as required to stay on track.
  • Prepare weekly performance reports, highlighting wins, challenges, and actionable insights for senior management.
  • Participate in periodic training sessions and product knowledge workshops to stay current on new offerings and sales techniques.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
  • Age: 35 years or younger.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • At least 1 year of proven field sales experience, preferably in fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) or related distribution sectors.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in the field, manage time efficiently, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license (SIM) and personal vehicle capable of handling rural and inter‑island travel.
  • Willingness to be stationed outside the city or on other islands as business needs dictate.
  • Target‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Basic proficiency with mobile CRM applications and Microsoft Office tools.
