Introduction

This role is a frontline position that combines community outreach, financial analysis, and client relationship management to help bring underserved households into Amartha’s innovative lending programs.
As a Business Partner, you will act as the bridge between local households and Amartha’s financing solutions, ensuring that borrowers receive the guidance and support they need to grow their businesses and improve their livelihoods.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new borrowers by conducting field visits, community events, and referrals to promote Amartha’s financial products.
- Provide ongoing economic coaching to member households, offering advice on budgeting, cash‑flow management, and sustainable business practices.
- Perform detailed surveys and feasibility analyses on loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting policies, risk criteria, and documentation standards.
- Prepare and present clear, data‑driven recommendations to the credit committee for loan approval decisions.
- Attend and facilitate weekly member meetings, monitoring repayment performance and supporting any necessary transaction follow‑ups.
- Maintain accurate field reports, client records, and performance metrics in Amartha’s CRM system.
- Collaborate with regional managers and cross‑functional teams to continuously improve outreach strategies and product offerings.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent; candidates with a bachelor’s degree (S1) are strongly preferred.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome, but prior experience in customer relations, sales analysis, or micro‑finance is an advantage.
- Must own a two‑wheel vehicle (motorcycle) for field mobility.
- Willingness to work on‑site in the field and stay in company‑provided mess housing when required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust in diverse community settings.
- Strong analytical mindset for evaluating loan eligibility and financial viability.
- Flexibility to be placed in any Amartha branch across the region.
