Introduction
J&T Cargo, a leading provider of express logistics services in Indonesia, is expanding its delivery network in the Pancoran Mas area of Depok. We are looking for motivated and reliable Motorbike Delivery Couriers to join our fast‑paced team. The position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to work six days a week with the possibility of weekend shifts.
Responsibilities
- Pick up parcels from the J&T Cargo outlet and deliver them to residential or commercial addresses within the assigned service zone.
- Update the delivery status in real‑time using the J&T mobile application, ensuring accurate tracking for customers and the operations team.
- Maintain the safety and integrity of each package, handling fragile or high‑value items with extra care.
- Meet daily delivery targets set by the outlet manager, typically measured by the number of completed receipts (resi) per shift.
- Follow the outlet’s standard operating procedures, including proper documentation, cash‑on‑delivery handling (if applicable), and reporting any delivery exceptions.
- Assist with occasional inbound tasks such as loading parcels onto the motorcycle, performing basic vehicle checks, and keeping the workspace tidy.
- Provide courteous, professional customer service during each interaction, addressing inquiries and confirming receipt signatures when required.
- Continuously improve route knowledge of the Pancoran Mas and surrounding neighborhoods to optimize delivery efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: 18 – 35 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders, though the current posting emphasizes male candidates.
- Valid Indonesian driving license (SIM C) and ownership of a personal, road‑worthy motorbike.
- Smartphone with Android OS for the J&T delivery app.
- Zero to minimal prior courier experience – we provide on‑the‑job training.
- Key soft skills: honesty, discipline, punctuality, strong sense of responsibility, and good communication.
- Familiarity with the local delivery area is a plus, but not mandatory.
- Ability to work the designated shift: Monday to Sunday, 10:30 am – 9:00 pm.
