Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Kasir Toko Retail to join our growing team at our Pringlanggu location. As a cashier, you will be the front‑line ambassador of our store, ensuring smooth transactions, accurate cash handling, and a welcoming atmosphere that keeps shoppers returning.
Responsibilities
- Process all sales transactions quickly and accurately using our point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments while adhering to company cash‑handling policies.
- Maintain a tidy checkout area, restock impulse items, and ensure promotional materials are displayed correctly.
- Verify product prices, apply discounts, and resolve pricing discrepancies in collaboration with the store manager.
- Provide friendly assistance to customers, answer product inquiries, and direct them to appropriate departments.
- Perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, prepare bank deposits, and report any variances.
- Assist in inventory counts, receiving shipments, and shelf‑stocking when needed.
- Uphold store security protocols, including monitoring for shoplifting and reporting suspicious activity.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and deliver a consistent brand experience.
- Participate in regular training sessions on product knowledge, customer service, and POS system updates.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Gender: Female (per company policy for this specific location).
- Age range: 18–25 years old.
- Prior experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector or retail cash handling is preferred.
- Proficient with basic computer operations and familiar with POS or cashier systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, diligent, honest, and able to work well within a team.
- Must not be currently enrolled in college or school programs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle a moderate amount of physical activity.
- Excellent numerical ability and attention to detail to avoid transaction errors.
