Introduction
BNI Life, the insurance subsidiary of Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI), is seeking dynamic and motivated Spesialis Bancassurance (BAS) to join our team in several key locations across Central Sulawesi, including Parigi, Poso, Bungku, Ampana, Morowali Utara, and the Bahodopi area. As a Bancassurance Specialist, you will act as the bridge between BNI’s banking network and our life insurance products, delivering tailored solutions to individual customers and contributing to the growth of our market share in the region.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute detailed sales plans for life insurance products within assigned BNI branch outlets.
- Conduct proactive outreach and face‑to‑face consultations to identify customer needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
- Deliver compelling product presentations, handle objections, and close sales while adhering to compliance and underwriting guidelines.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and regularly update the CRM system with activity logs and sales forecasts.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with internal stakeholders (branch managers, tellers, and other BNI staff) to ensure seamless referral processes.
- Provide post‑sale support, including policy explanation, claim assistance, and periodic policy reviews.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory changes affecting the bancassurance channel.
- Participate in regular training sessions, workshops, and certification programs to continuously improve product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Represent BNI Life at community events, seminars, and corporate outreach programs to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates with a Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any field are also encouraged to apply.
- Age: 20‑35 years old.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- At least 1 year of experience in sales or marketing within the financial services industry; 2 years preferred for candidates with a high school background.
- Proven negotiation and closing abilities, especially in insurance or banking environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is a plus.
- Professional appearance, well‑groomed and presentable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with both internal teams and external customers.
- Passion for sales and a self‑driven attitude towards achieving targets.
- Must not be listed as an active participant in the AAJI (Asosiasi Asuransi Jiwa Indonesia) blacklist.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00‑17:00, with occasional travel to branch locations or client meetings.
