Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Representative Medical – Pharmaceutical Products to join our expanding sales team in Balikpapan. This field‑based role focuses on driving product adoption, ensuring optimal stock levels, and building strong relationships with pharmacies, hospitals, and other healthcare outlets. The ideal candidate will be a self‑starter with a proven track record in sales or marketing, a passion for the pharmaceutical industry, and the ability to thrive in a mobile, target‑oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets in line with corporate standards and regional growth objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels across assigned outlets, proactively addressing stock‑outs and coordinating replenishment with the logistics team.
- Develop deep product knowledge to effectively communicate benefits, usage guidelines, and clinical data to healthcare professionals.
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmacists, doctors, purchasing managers, and distributors.
- Coordinate with the distribution network to ensure timely and accurate delivery of pharmaceutical products throughout the sales area.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, market insights, and competitor activity summaries to the regional manager.
- Identify new business opportunities, such as untapped clinics or pharmacies, and develop action plans to capture market share.
- Participate in promotional events, product launches, and training sessions to reinforce brand visibility.
- Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements governing pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
- Travel extensively within the Balikpapan region, utilizing a personal motor vehicle and a valid SIM C license.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; graduates from any field are welcome.
- At least 1 year of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field within the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
- Active SIM C driver’s license and personal motor vehicle for field mobility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Highly organized, target‑driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, and willingness to travel for business purposes.
