Kaizen Nirel Centre, located in the bustling district of P. Simalingkar, Medan, is seeking a dedicated Guru Pendidikan Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (Special Needs Children Teacher) to join our inclusive learning team. This full‑time position operates Monday through Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, and offers a supportive environment where educators can make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities
- Design and deliver individualized lesson plans that address the cognitive, social, and emotional needs of children with special educational requirements.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor progress, adapting instructional strategies to ensure each child reaches their developmental milestones.
- Collaborate closely with parents, therapists, and multidisciplinary staff to create cohesive support plans.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, performance data, and behavioral observations in accordance with centre policies.
- Implement classroom management techniques that promote a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Facilitate communication skill development through activities that enhance listening, speaking, and interpersonal interaction.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings, professional development workshops, and community outreach programs.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to senior management regarding curriculum enhancements and resource needs.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any field; candidates with backgrounds in Education or Psychology are strongly preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required for fresh graduates, though any teaching or volunteer experience with children is advantageous.
- Personal Attributes: Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children of all abilities.
- Age & Gender: Open to all ages and genders; no upper age limit.
- Marital Status: Preference for candidates who are not yet married, reflecting the centre’s current staffing considerations.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, active listening, problem‑solving, and teamwork abilities.
