Introduction

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Cashier Customer Service & Transaction Specialist to join our fast‑paced hospitality team. This role is pivotal in delivering seamless payment experiences and exceptional service to our guests across multiple dining outlets. The ideal candidate will possess strong numerical accuracy, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to operate modern Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems while thriving in a shift‑based environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate the POS system to process cash, credit, debit, and digital payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, ensuring all transactions match the recorded sales and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Provide friendly, prompt, and professional service to guests, answering inquiries, handling complaints, and upselling menu items when appropriate.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all receipts, cash drawers, and transaction logs are securely managed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and floor staff to coordinate order flow, ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages.
  • Perform routine inventory checks of consumables such as napkins, condiments, and packaging materials, reporting low stock to the manager.
  • Adhere to all food safety, hygiene, and cash handling policies as mandated by the company and local regulations.
  • Assist in training new team members on POS operations, customer service standards, and cash handling procedures.
  • Participate in weekly team briefings to share feedback, suggest process improvements, and stay updated on promotional offers.
  • Work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the demands of a 24/7 service environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; D3/D4 preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a cashier or food‑and‑beverage (F&B) outlet role.
  • Proficiency with POS (Point of Sale) software and basic computer applications.
  • Strong numerical aptitude, high attention to detail, and honesty in handling cash.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
